I use them every day. It was really hard to put them on my gauges but once I did, I’ve never got a frostbite from Freon. It makes my jobs cleaner and the customers appreciated as well when I’m not spraying Freon everywhere and I look more professional.

Used these on a hot discharge line and they definitely help. Keeps the heat off your fingers and the color coding makes it easy to grab the right hose w/ all black hoses.
Great concept at first worked great. However the bottom lip has poped out and makes it where the probes don’t have the leverage to hook up, and have to take them off and put back on after every use.
From my first purchase of a set of frost shields that I mounted on my JB industrial climate class probes, to the new hose seals, I am impressed. I have now purchased multiple sets of shields and seals. The products are great and the communications are top notch. If you need, and you do need them, any of their products do not hesitate to buy. You will buy again.

Quite literally saved my fingers the first time I used them. Old corroded schrader broker after being depressed and started dumping r-22 out the front and back. If the frost shield hadn’t been there I would’ve had a bad bad day. Very satisfied with my purchase!

Finally a safety tool that's made by technicians for technicians. As you're trying to fit them on make sure to lubricate the inside of the fittings.

Product itself works great. Protects hands from gauge blow back, and gives you better grip on oily brass fittings.

Works like expected but it’s really hard to put them in your hoses they come with no instructions to at least see how would be the best way to put them on your hoses but they do work

You’re right, installation can feel tight at first. The best way we’ve found is to flip the sleeve inside out, slide it over the fitting, then pull and stretch it while rotating until it pops over the nut. Once it’s on, flip it back to normal.
We’re working on making the instructions more obvious, and there is also a quick install video available for anyone who wants a visual.

Pretty great idea. Works well in those hard to reach areas. So far i have put a set on my fieldpiece wireless guages and have another set for my hoses for my fieldpiece sman 480v digital guages. Let me know if you need pictures.
These Frost Shield silicone covers are a great addition to my gauges. As an HVAC tech, I have frozen my fingers from refrigerant blow off more times than i can count, and these covers really help prevent freezing my hands when taking them on and off units. I was extremely surprised the first time I tried them. They also add a lot more grip, which makes handling the gauges easier, especially when wearing gloves. The color coding is a nice bonus and helps keep everything organized. Simple idea but very effective. Definitely recommend them for anyone working in HVAC.

Simple but very effective tool. Frost Shield keeps refrigerant spray off your fingers and makes hose identification quick and easy. Every HVAC tech should have a set on their gauges.
